Academic Testing
Academic testing is done for diagnostic purposes and for admission to the Read/Write (intensive tutoring) program. Testing specific to reading and language acquisition is offered through Community Services by an Education Consultant from the Read/Write program. This testing is required before the child is formally enrolled in the intensive one-on-one tutoring sessions, unless recent testing has been administered that meets the requirements of Read/Write.
Academic testing is also available to the general public to assist concerned individuals with a child's academic achievement. The assessments available will indicate grade-level functioning in phonemic awareness, reading, writing, spelling and comprehension. General recommendations based on the results will be made to further assist the child in academic progress.
Time for testing: 2 hours
Cost: $225.00
