Dr. MacMaster will discuss (1) What do we know about brain development during childhood and adolescence? (2) What do we know about the brain in ADHD? (3) What do we know about the brain in learning disabilities?

Dr. MacMaster’s research is on brain imaging and brain stimulation in pediatric neuropsychiatric disorders. Through this research, he hopes that the health outcomes of children and adolescents can be improved in three ways: (1) identify the mechanisms that underlie the development of these disorders; (2) use that new knowledge to better diagnosis neurodevelopmental and mental disorders; and (3) develop novel treatment targets and identifying predictors of response.
