Dive into the world of music, Amicus style!

Develop essential skills like keeping a steady beat, reading music, and playing in a small ensemble. Participants will unleash their creativity by designing and building their own dulcimers- which they will keep at the end of the program so they can continue to play! With no previous music experience required, it's a hands-on, collaborative journey that goes beyond notes and rhythms – it's about making music your own!

The primary instrument participants will play is the dulcimer. This is a simple string instrument that is perfect for learning (see photo below). Participants will assemble and decorate their own dulcimers and keep them at the end of the session.
