Supporting students with Learning Disabilities (LDs) requires more than understanding a diagnosis, it requires understanding how students learn, process information, experience challenges, and build on their strengths. - Explore the impact of working memory, processing speed, and executive function on learning
- Understand the social-emotional effects of Learning Disabilities
- Discover practical strategies, accommodations, and supports to help students succeed
- Build student confidence, self-advocacy, and independence

I would highly recommend this course to other teachers and educational professionals. The primary reason is its practicality. Unlike many professional development courses that remain purely theoretical, this course provides a "toolbox" of actionable strategies such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) that can be implemented immediately in an elementary classroom.
This course doesn't just teach you how to manage students who struggle; it teaches you how to design a classroom where they can thrive.
