Foothills Academy School is a Designated Special Education Private School for students in grades 3 to 12, all of whom have diagnosed Learning Disabilities (such as Dyslexia). We work to ensure that all of our students reach their true potential and become the outstanding and successful young people whom they deserve to be.

The Estelle Siebens Community Services centre assists individuals of all ages with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD in the Calgary community and well beyond. We are open year-round and have a wide-range of in-person and online, financially accessible services and programs.

Summer School

Foothills Academy is excited to offer Math 15, CALM and Biology 20 courses for summer school!

Summer school registration is open.

Classes will follow our specialized instructional model and limited class sizes for students with diagnosed Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD.

Summer School 2026 Courses:

Math 15: 3 credit course for current grade 9 students.
Career and Life Management (CALM): 3 credit course for current grade 9 students.
Biology 20: 5 credit course for current grade 10 or 11 students.

DATES & TIMES:

Math 15 & CALM will run from Thursday, July 2nd until Friday, July 17th from 8:30am - 12:30pm.
Biology 20 will run from Monday, June 29th until Friday, July 17th (no class on July 1st) from 8:30am - 2:25pm, including a scheduled lunch break.

Resources:

All students will be provided with a Chromebook and have access to a summer school Google Classroom.
Summer school students are encouraged to bring a snack and water for the morning break.

Cost & Payment:

Math 15 & CALM will cost $500 per student
Biology 20 will cost $750 per student

Please note that students can enroll in only one course as they are offered at the same time.
