Executive Function in Action: From Frustration to Understanding with SLPs.

Join our Expert SLPs in this engaging workshop!

March Workshop

Schedule

  • Nibbles & Knowledge to follow (7:30-8:00 PM)

Do you find yourself constantly reminding your child to listen, get ready on time, start (or finish) homework, or keep track of their things?

Have you heard the term executive functioning from teachers or therapists but aren’t quite sure what it means—or how to help at home? You’re not alone, and we’ve got answers.

Join the Speech-Language Pathologists from Uncovering Potential for a 1.5-hour presentation that breaks down what executive functioning really is and how it affects your child’s day-to-day life. You’ll gain insight into key skills like attention, perception, verbal and nonverbal working memory, and inhibition.

We’ll share practical, everyday strategies to support your child’s development, and your family’s well-being. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your child’s challenges, concrete tools to try at home, and a sense of where to turn for more help if needed.

Make the shift from frustration to confidence as you learn to recognize and support executive functioning needs in your child (and maybe even yourself!).
