After School Programs
Structured Literacy Programs and Math Pilot Programs
If your child struggles with literacy or math areas such as reading, spelling, comprehension, or written expression and has received remedial intervention through our programs or another, this program could be the perfect fit.
Weekly Programs
Our weekly programs are designed to strengthen your child's skills or focus on specific areas of development. Trained instructors provide individualized support using evidence-based techniques, tailoring the program to your child's strengths and learning goals. Each session is one hour long, held once a week.
Please note: depending on the age and ability of the student, it may be appropriate to book them in more than one lesson per week with the same Instructor.
Math Pilot Program
This new pilot program, held twice weekly for five weeks, focuses on foundational math skills. In a small group of five students, an experienced math specialist helps build essential classroom math skills. This program is not tutoring and does not provide grade-level homework support. Students must commit to two lessons per week. Students will learn key strategies to support their math skill development (Chisanbop, Woodin Math), and every lesson will have practice questions and word problems tailored to the skills the student is working on (determined by assessment). We will collect data and student and parent feedback on this program.
