Moving Forward Program

Sometimes, the transition from high school to adulthood can be tough. The expectations and pressures of the adult world may feel overwhelming at times, however, this transition can also be a time of excitement and possibility if you are prepared and have the right supports.

Moving Forward is a 10-week group program offered through Community Services for young adults (ages 18 – 25 with an LD and/or ADHD diagnosis) aimed at helping to ease the adjustment to the adult world. Whether you are working towards post-secondary education, employment, or struggling to find your direction, this group will provide you with the opportunity to identify and explore your next steps while also creating connections with peers who are in a similar stage of life.

There are many ways to donate, volunteer or attend Foothills Academy events.

Keep in touch! We love to hear from our alumni and know how you are doing. Fill out our Alumni Update form and keep us up to date.
