Alysia Derrien, our Accounts Officer, has been one of those steady and reliable forces since September 1st, 2010. With over a decade of commitment, she plays a vital role in keeping operations organized and on track.
Ask Alysia what she enjoys most about her work, and her answer is refreshingly simple: the people. It is the connections with colleagues and the shared sense of purpose that makes her role so meaningful.
Her days follow a rhythm that many can appreciate. Two coffees to start and a focus on checking off everything on her list. It is a routine grounded in consistency, care, and a quiet dedication to getting things done.
While accounts and payroll are often closely connected, one thing people might not know about Alysia’s role is that she is not responsible for payroll. Instead, she focuses on supporting the financial operations that help keep everything on track day to day.
When it comes to accomplishments, Alysia takes pride in completing tasks on time. Her work, though often behind the scenes, is essential in ensuring that Foothills continues to operate efficiently and effectively for students, clients, and the community.
