At Foothills Academy, much of the work that supports our students and families happens behind the scenes. As our School Admissions & Data Coordinator, Melissa Byrnes plays an important role in helping students and families navigate their Foothills journey. Melissa has been part of the Foothills community for 13 years and is about to begin her 14th year!

At Foothills Academy, we are committed to fostering a culture of ongoing learning, especially when it directly enhances the support we provide to our students and families. We are thrilled to share that two of our dedicated Read/Write & Math Intervention team members, Karen Monner and Carissa Backus, have successfully completed the requirements to earn their Wilson Reading System® Level II Certification and the Wilson® Dyslexia Therapist credential through Wilson Language Training.

Calgary, Alberta - September 25, 2024 — Foothills Academy Society is excited to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of Intact Insurance’s Better Communities program, receiving a generous donation of $1,500. This contribution will directly support Foothills’ mission to provide an exceptional learning environment for children and youth with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD.
