What is the difference?
1) Intensive:
- You get the same instructor all four weeks (where possible)
- 1:1 in a private office/classroom
- Pre and post assessment reports - in depth assessment specific to our programs with comprehensive explanations of each area of need, measured progress, in depth recommendations for school and home for future intervention and growth.
- Significant growth with daily repetition
2) Booster:
- You get the same instructor for 5 days. Multiple weeks might mean different instructors. However, all staff are highly trained and pick up where student left off.
- 1:1 in a private office/classroom
- First day check in with a small measurable goal for the week.
- Final report (or weekly update if the student is returning for multiple weeks) indicating progress toward goal and recommendations for future work.
40-hour Intensive programs can be 4 or 5 weeks long, depending on if you do 4 or 5 days per week. The total cost is based on $65/hour and $480 for pre- and post-assessment.
Start dates: Flexible start dates, starting in September. The weeks must be consecutive though.
You can start a booster week on any Monday of the month from September through December. Reporting and planning is $70 per session and included in total cost.

NEW! Add on a Parent Training Program for only $70 with registration in any of our Weekly, Booster, or Intensive programs. Spend one hour with one of our experts in literacy and/or numeracy and learn about the program your child is working in, strategies to support them at home, and how to keep the work going beyond our programs! You may book an hour any time your child is already here in program.
Cancellation Policy
Missed lessons/rescheduling:
Our programs have a no-cancellation policy. We expect full attendance. We are happy to move a lesson online if needed at the originally scheduled time. Missed lessons will NOT be made up.
Refund Policy:
All Read/Write & Math refunds are for the program fee and do not include the deposit ($100). All program fees are included within this policy. Below is a breakdown of our refund structure.
Full refund - minus the deposit:
For withdrawals more than five business days before the start date.
No refund:
Withdrawals less than 5 business days prior to the first day of the program.
If a child has to leave a Read/Write & Math in relation to the Behaviour.
Failure to communicate all current diagnosis information
The program has begun and the family has elected to withdraw their child.
Payment:
If a spot is offered:
You are sent an INVOICE with details of the spot and a request. Please check your junk mail for an email from FoothillsRWM (noreply@timetap.com). The Title of the email is: Registration: Your registration details
Pay the non-refundable deposit of $100 within 5 business days to confirm registration or call us (403) 270-9400.
Pay the remaining balance in full at least 10 business days before the program starts.
Failure to pay the deposit or the remaining balance in the time stated results in cancellation of the program.
