Amicus and Read/Write & Math Day Camp

• Grades: Entering Grades 3–8
• Location: Foothills Academy, Calgary
• Dates & Duration: Sessions run Monday to Friday for 2 weeks; 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Focus/Goal: Enhance academic skills while fostering social connections and summer fun
• Activities: Individualized literacy and math lessons, social skills coaching, field trips, art, science, sports, and more
• Transportation: Drop-off and pick-up at Foothills Academy. Bussing to field trips is provided

Payment and Financial Accessibility

Payment for the Read, Write & Math Day Camp must be completed in two transactions: One for the RWM portion and one for the Amicus portion. 

FSCD funding is only applicable to the Amicus portion. We can bill FSCD directly for camp fees. 

The Read/Write & Math portion may qualify as a “Medical Expense Tax Credit” through the CRA if eligibility requirements are met. These include if the individual has a diagnosed disability and if a medical practitioner has certified in writing that tutoring services are needed.
