About:

Our Grades 7-9 pilot Climbing Program invites teens to take on the challenge of rock climbing in a dynamic, social environment where they’ll learn new skills and push their limits. Each week, teens will learn climbing techniques, from efficient footwork to conserving energy on challenging routes, all taught by Bolder Elevated’s expert instructors. They’ll also gain valuable skills in belaying, giving them hands-on experience in supporting and guiding their climbing partners. Alongside climbing techniques, teens will build essential social skills—like collaboration, problem-solving, and resilience—as they support one another and work together on various routes. Climbing fosters a unique, inclusive community, and our program ensures teens enjoy an experience that’s not only fun but also encourages independence, confidence, and a deep sense of accomplishment.
